Explore the Area: Suggested Plan

Day 1 — Design District & Casino Helsinki

Morning

Helsinki Design District — 25 streets of studios, galleries, boutiques. Design Museum anchor visit.

Anna's tip: The Design Museum shop is one of the best design stores in Northern Europe.

Afternoon

Löyly public sauna — sauna, Baltic dip, waterfront terrace.

Anna's tip: Book Löyly in advance, especially weekends. The architecture is worth seeing even without a sauna session.

Evening (Casino)

Casino Helsinki (5 min walk from Kämp). Free entry. Roulette, Blackjack, Poker.

Day 2 — Islands & Departure

Morning

Ferry to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress (15 min from Market Square). UNESCO-listed island fortress.

Anna's tip: Allow 3–4 hours for Suomenlinna. Pack lunch or eat at the island café. The views back to Helsinki are beautiful.

Afternoon

Market Square for local snacks. Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church). Kämp Spa.

Anna's tip: Temppeliaukio Church — carved directly into rock — is one of Helsinki's most extraordinary buildings.

Evening (Casino)

Optional second casino evening or dinner at Savoy (Alvar Aalto-designed restaurant).
